Sean Kenan has
been an integral part of both teaching and playing of Irish fiddle music in Australia for several decades. He has performed
and taught fiddle throughout the country and is one of Australia's leading players. After moving from Melbourne to
Canberra in 1990 Sean established and performed with the Tinkers, the top traditional band of the day and made up of highly
skilled young musicians. During his stay in the nation's capital Sean taught many young people to play music and
encouraged them to develop a love of Irish traditional music. Sean has taught people of all ages and levels
and his aims are to provide a friendly and dedicated approach to learning.
Sean returned to Melbourne in 2003 and set up and runs the successful
'Fancy Yourself Fiddling' music school.
